There’s a cattle-guard which enters the Northern property line. Hess Ranch consists of 56% native rangeland with premiere hunting capabilities, and 44% cultivated dryland farmland.
There are 2 windmills with solar pumps that provide water for livestock, and 2 ponds that collect rainfall. The main house, built in 1918, has a basement.
A new septic system and metal roof was installed in 2020. The Hunters’ Cabin is about 1,064 sq ft. The property also has two wood frame barns (2,800 and 2,400) and a wood shelter for livestock (1,680). The house, pens and barn all have new paint.
