June was an eventful month and we’re excited to share with you about the real estate market for Amarillo and Canyon. Last month, there were 369 houses sold which was up 6% from May. The average sales price was up about 5% to around $263,000 for the area. Days on market was up almost 1.5% averaging at around 66 days! Inventory continues to decrease and there were 376 houses on the market at the end of June. We expect to see the number of homes sold rise causing inventory to fall as we get into the busy summer months. If you have any questions about the real estate market comment below.
