July was an interesting month and we’re excited to share with you some information about the real estate market in the Amarillo and Canyon area. Last month, there were 410 houses sold which was up 11% from June. Also, the average sales price was up about 0.15% which comes out to around $263,300 for the area. Days on market stayed the same averaging around 66 days! Inventory has increased 20% and there were 501 houses on the market at the end of June. With increased inventory, it’s possible we will see a more stable market over the next few weeks. If you have any questions about the real estate market comment below.
