Community has always been at the heart of our business and our success means nothing unless we can give something back. When we founded our brokerage in 2009, we began making a difference in our community by donating to local auctions and volunteering time to support charitable boards. Our First Fruits program was inspired by
“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops.” Proverbs 3:9
In the summer of 2015, the Triangle Realty First Fruits program began. Prior to every real estate transaction, each of our agents is required to turn in their transaction data to the brokerage with an opportunity for the agent to donate a portion of their hard-earned commission to the program. At year end, the brokerage and agent decide which local charity or charities to allocate the funds.
We encourage each participating agent to choose the organization that they are connected to and feel most passionate about. By donating locally, they are making a difference in their own communities. With agents located throughout the Texas Panhandle, central Texas and expanding into New Mexico, the impact of First Fruits is growing and reaching many communities.
Triangle Realty matches each agent’s donations dollar for dollar – making the giving even more fruitful. We hope to not only deliver exceptional service on the front end, but to also fruitfully serve our communities on the back end, making a difference one client at a time.
In 2016, Triangle Realty donated $7,072.00 to local charities via the First Fruits program from 2015 agent donations. In 2017, we donated $14,440 to various local charities from the 2016 agent donations. In 2018, we donated $18,592.60 to various local charities from the 2017 agent donations. In 2019, we donated $24,636 to various local charities from the 2018 agent donations. In 2020, we donated $30,157 to various local charities with all time overall giving going over $100,000! In 2021, we donated $18,402.56 to various local charities from the 2019 agent donations. In 2022, our agents donated $14,311.80 to various local organizations from 2021 donations with all time giving now over $130,000!
